General information
This privacy policy is intended to inform the users of the website about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the website operator.
We, as the website operator, take data protection very seriously and treat your personal data confidentially and only in accordance with the statutory provisions. We recommend that you read our data protection declaration at regular intervals, as it may also change as a result of constant further development of our website or offers, or as a result of legal or official requirements.
In this data privacy declaration, we use terms (e.g. “personal data” or “processing”) which are defined in Art. 4 of the DS-GVO (abbreviation of the German word “Datenschutz-Grundverordnung”, in English: General Data Protection Regulation).
Access data
Due to our legitimate interest (see Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. DS-GVO), we collect data on access to our website and store it in the log files of the server. The following data is logged in this way:
- Requested page
- Referrer URL
- Date and time of the server request
- Status of the server query
- Transmitted data volume
- IP address
- User-agent (browser and operating system)
These log files are stored for a maximum of seven days and then deleted. The data is stored solely for security reasons (e.g. to clarify cases of abuse) and is not merged with other data sources. If data has to be kept for reasons of evidence, it is excluded from deletion until the incident is finally clarified. The same settings and rules also apply to the data servers used – “daten.verwaltungsportal”, “fotos.verwaltungsportal.de”, “vorschau.verwaltungsportal.de” and “layout.verwaltungsportal.de” – which belong to the back-end system of our website provider.
Cookies
This website uses cookies to enhance the usability, functionality and security of the website. Cookies are small files which are stored on your end device. Your browser accesses these files. This enables each individual browser to be distinguished from others. By using cookies, the website can offer functions that would not be possible without cookies: in particular, simple menu navigation and other individualised website settings. The cookies for these functions usually have a maximum lifetime of 24 hours and are not used to identify visitors.
Modern browsers offer the option of not allowing cookies, and thus generally deactivating them for one or all web pages. When using this browser function, it cannot be guaranteed that it will be possible to use all functions of this website without restrictions.
Collection and processing of personal data
In principle, it is possible to use our website without providing personal data. However, should the user wish to use a function that requires the provision of personal data, the website operator will process the personal data only based on a corresponding legal basis or with the consent of the person concerned. Personal data is defined as all information that can be assigned to a specific or determinable natural person: for example, your name, e-mail address or telephone number.
On our site we offer a contact form. We process personal data, such as name, e-mail address, telephone number and content information, from this form. We process this personal data only with the express permission of the persons concerned and in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations, and in compliance with the DS-GVO. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in fulfilling our contractually agreed services and optimising our online offer.
Handling of contact data
If you contact us through the offered contact options, your data will be processed in order to process and answer your request. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.
Handling of comments, contributions and forms
If you post contributions or comments on this website, your IP address may be saved. This is done on the basis of a legitimate interest in the sense of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DS-GVO and serves the security of us as operators of this website. Should your comment or contribution violate applicable law, we as the operator can be prosecuted for this, which is why we have an interest in preserving the identity of the actual author.
SSL encryption
If the SSL encryption of this website is activated, sensitive data that you transmit to us via this website (e.g. via the contact form) cannot be read by third parties. You can recognise an active encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of your browser changes from "http://" to https://, and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If the encryption is active, the data that you transmit to us via the website cannot be read by third parties.
Using a two-click solution for iframe integrations
On our website a two-click solution for so-called iframe integrations is activated. This function ensures that when you call up a page of our website that contains such integrations of third-party websites, no connection is initially established with the servers of the provider of the respective website. By clicking on the window you can then display the contents and thus confirm the differing data protection conditions of the integrated websites. For the purpose and scope of data collection, and the further processing and use of data by the third-party websites, as well as your rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy, please refer to the data protection information of the respective website or provider.
Use of social media links
The share functions on the website are so-called share links. Since these are pure links and not an integration, they are not subject to data protection laws. A call to these social networks only takes place when you explicitly click on or activate these links.
Google ReCAPTCHA
To protect against misuse of forms, Google’s ReCAPTCHA may be used, whereby the optional parameter "remoteip" is not set in the API query. When using the CAPTCHA, your browser will download the necessary data from Google. In doing so, your browser will establish a connection to the servers of Google, so that Google will gain knowledge about the call and your IP address via our website. The operator of this site has no influence over this data transfer.
The use of Google's ReCAPTHA is in the interest of preventing misuse of forms and should affect the usability of the website as little as possible. The CAPTCHA offers one of the most user-friendly captcha on the market, due to its mostly automatic recognition and great variety of functions, and thus represents a legitimate interest in terms of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.
When the Google ReCATPCHA is called, different privacy policies of the company Google will apply. Further information can be found at https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
Google Maps
This website may use Google Maps to display site maps. When calling up a site map from Google Maps, data is transferred to the Google servers and stored there. The operator of this site has no influence over this data transfer.
The use of Google Maps is made in the interest of ensuring an attractive presentation of our online offers and the easy findability of the locations we indicate on the website. This represents a legitimate interest in the sense of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.
When calling up Google Maps, different data protection regulations of the company Google will apply. You can find further information on this at https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
Google Web Fonts
For the uniform display of fonts, this website may use the so-called Google Web Fonts. When using these fonts, your browser downloads the required fonts from our website system and stores them in the browser cache, in order to display the fonts correctly. Your browser does not establish a connection to the Google servers, so Google does not receive knowledge about the call or your IP address.
Rights of the user
As a user, you have the right to request free information about which personal data about you has been stored. You also have the right to have incorrect data corrected, and to have your personal data restricted for processing or deleted. If applicable, you may also exercise your right to data portability, provided that this is technically possible and does not affect the rights and freedoms of others. If you suspect that your data has been processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
Deletion of data
As a user, you have the right to have your data deleted, as long as this does not conflict with a legal obligation to retain data. Data stored by us will be deleted if it is no longer necessary for the intended purpose, or if legal retention periods have ended. If deletion is not possible because the data is required for permissible legal purposes, data processing will be restricted. In this case the data will be blocked and no longer processed for other purposes.
Right of objection
Users of this website may exercise their right to object to the processing of their personal data at any time.
If you wish to correct, block, delete or obtain information about the personal data stored about you, or if you have questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data, or if you wish to revoke consents granted, please contact a member of staff using the contact details given above.
Matomo (formerly Piwik)
Due to our legitimate interests in optimizing and analyzing our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. DS-GVO the service "Matomo". The service uses "cookies" for this. These are simple text files that are stored on the computer by the browser and are used for identification by the analysis software. Modern browsers offer the option of not allowing cookies and thus generally deactivating them for one or all websites. When using this browser function, it is not guaranteed that all functions of this website can be used without restrictions.
IP anonymization is used on this website. The user's IP address is immediately shortened. As a result of the shortening, the personal reference of your IP address is no longer applicable. This information is transmitted to our server and stored for the purpose of analyzing the use of the website. The data is used to evaluate the use of our online offer by the individual users, e.g. B. to create reports on the activity on the website or to improve our online offer. The information generated in this way about the use of this website will not be passed on to third parties.
You can object to storage and use at any time with a click of the mouse. In this case, a so-called opt-out cookie is stored in the browser. This opt-out cookie prevents the analysis software from evaluating usage data generated by your current session. Please note that if cookies are deleted or deactivated, the opt-out cookie will also be removed or deactivated and this must then be reactivated.
