Protector’s Chapel
The Protector’s Chapel (Tib.: mGon khang) is also accessed through the entry hall. It is dedicated to Tabo’s protectress Tsamsing (Tib.: lcam sring).
It hosts a clay statue and the walls are covered with paintings showing further deities (Mahakala, Yama, Red and Blue Mahakalas) and Female Riders, all of them are painted in the west Tibetan style used during the 15th and 16th centuries.
